“Delwyn is a great physician who is extremely professional in all aspects of her job. Over the years, I have spent countless hours on Del’s table. She was outstanding—not only in her massage skills but also in her understanding of what areas to treat. Although she was brilliant from day one, I always felt she was looking to improve even more. I can honestly say that without her, other therapists, and the physios and doctors, I would not have played for so long. These are the people who get up early and stay up late to provide the extra treatment that gets me back on the field as soon as possible. For me, Del is the brightest of these stars, and not only because she worked with me the longest.”

“Delwyn is undoubtedly one of the best in her field. I have three bulging discs in my neck and back, and her expertise in treating these areas is unmatched. After every session, I feel more mobile and ready to continue competing. Delwyn’s knowledge and skill are on par with a sports physiotherapist but specialising in soft tissue imbalances and tightness, making her an invaluable part of my recovery and performance.”

He played 127 caps for the Brumbies and 102 for the Wallabies. He won two Super Rugby titles with the Brumbies as a player.

He was inducted into the Sport Australia Hall of Fame in 2012 and into the World Rugby Hall of Fame in 2018.
“The late 90’s through to the mid-2000’s, was a golden period for Australian Rugby. The Brumbies won two Super Rugby titles, and we won nearly all the trophies on offer for the Wallabies. A huge contributor to our success was continuity of selection and the ability to keep a core group of players fit and connected on the field. Delwyn was instrumental in this, working with the players behind the scenes throughout that period. I certainly know I wouldn’t have been able to perform as well as I did for as long as I did without her help. Over the last two seasons, Delwyn has been back working with the Brumbies players. Professional and personable, and an expert in her field, she once again has the respect of all the players and has become a big part of their preparation to perform each weekend.”

“My path fortunately crossed with Del on the recommendation of another runner. I was returning to elite-level running after the birth of my first child and was no longer on an AIS scholarship, which had provided all medical support. From that first appointment, I sensed how important Del would become in my career. It wasn’t just her excellent massage skills, with a technique that allowed her to work tight areas with greater force than many male massage therapists. Del understood the whole athlete and demonstrated an appreciation of my circumstances—that is, returning to full training with a very young child. In that first massage, she capably worked around my unsettled little boy, who was lying on my chest for part of the massage session.
Del kept me on track over the next five years, understanding what was needed in treatments as I stressed my body with high mileage and also approached my forties. At the end of each treatment, she would often suggest and demonstrate additional stretches or exercises to address problem areas, without attempting to override my physiotherapist. Del understands the importance of an athlete’s whole team working together. After retiring, Del continued to visit our home regularly to provide treatment for both my husband and me, allowing us to maintain a long and treasured relationship.”

“During my time at the AIS, I had the privilege of having Delwyn as my soft tissue therapist. Her ability to pinpoint exactly where my body needed a trigger point release was amazing. Every session with her left me feeling refreshed and ready to tackle another big day of training. I can highly recommend Delwyn to anyone with areas of tightness that are causing pain, as she manages to relieve or fix the problem with her magic hands.”

I highly recommend Del to anyone with chronic pain or tightness that is restricting movement or the ability to perform. Because of Del, I am able to perform on the international stage. She truly is an amazing therapist.”

“There is a fine art and skill needed to put wilted or broken athletes back together again so that they can get the most out of their training sessions without being fatigued or sore from the treatment session. Delwyn is a cut above most, even at the elite level. She has separated herself by working with the general population and the best athletes, from the Commonwealth Games to Olympians to professional footballers. Del is super skilled in all aspects.
As I get older, the treatments become more necessary, and more attention to detail is required as we lose mobility and recover at a slower rate. I book in for regular treatments to prevent becoming injured, as Del finds potential problems and solves them before they become injuries. I highly recommend Del to any athlete of any ability.”

Outside of his job, Luke has spent his time improving his craft in Brazilian Jujitsu, quite the contrast to his trade.
“It is my absolute pleasure to recommend Delwyn Griffith as a world-class soft tissue therapist. Over the years, Delwyn has not only helped me recover from serious injuries but also played a crucial role in maintaining my physical well-being, which has been vital for both my high-performance business and my ability to be present for my young family. One of the most remarkable examples of Delwyn’s expertise came when I suffered a severe injury from a jiu-jitsu incident. I was barely able to walk due to the pain and immobility, yet after just one session with her, I was up and walking again. Her ability to facilitate such rapid and effective recovery is a testament to her exceptional skill and deep understanding of the human body.
Delwyn’s holistic approach to care extends beyond just treating symptoms. She takes the time to understand the full scope of her clients’ needs, enabling them to not only recover but also maintain peak performance. She has been instrumental in helping me manage the physical demands of running a business and raising a family, ensuring I stay on top of both. I highly recommend Delwyn to anyone seeking not just recovery but long-term physical health and performance. She is truly exceptional in her field.

Delwyn has thorough knowledge, understanding, and experience both as an athlete and in working with elite sporting teams. She can quickly and effectively identify and target specific problem areas and treat them accordingly. Her massages have made a real difference in injury prevention.

“I have lived with a long-term, ongoing cancer situation. Before and post-surgery, I have maintained a very deliberate exercise program, seriously impacted by chemo, radiotherapy, and stereotactic radiotherapy, including medications, for the past eight years.
My cancer has resulted in significant physical loss of upper body strength, including numbness in my calves and feet.
I was referred to Del by a well-known physiotherapist who worked closely with Del in private practice and with the Canberra Capitals and the ACT Brumbies. Del was asked to address (using rigorous soft tissue massage) areas that had literally ‘gone to sleep’ despite regular exercise.
I must acknowledge that Del’s intervention has been first class and overwhelming, enabling my regular exercise program to continue, albeit still at a slower pace, but very rewarding both physically and mentally.
You can rely on Del’s extensive experience and professionalism, but let me say upfront, her approach to deep soft tissue massage is not for the faint-hearted. I see Del about three times a fortnight for a one-hour session.
Del is very thorough in explaining the why, how, where, and when of soft tissue massage and repair to people in my situation. May I suggest that having a comprehensive discussion with Del is essential, where a meaningful and regular massage program can be developed? Del has a quiet and disarming manner, with care and explanation at the front and centre of patient concerns.
I am happy to share my experiences with Del with any prospective clients, if necessary.”
